4 Things God Wants You to Have
Christianity is knowing and doing, but it is also having. There are many phenomenal things we can have in Christ, and these are 4 of the basics:
1. Peace.
2. The power of the Holy Spirit.
3. A better life.
4. Heaven.
Peace
The only way a person can have real peace in his soul is through Christ. You were created that way. The very reason Jesus became our sacrifice was to fill our need for true peace. Many people have tried to fill this need for lasting peace with "things," money, and religion. (Jesus is the only way.) See the Gospel of John, chapters 14 and 16.
The power of the Holy Spirit
God the Holy Spirit was given to us in this life for power, inspiration, creativity, wisdom, and courage. Jesus promised that we could be filled, empowered, and immersed (baptised) with the Holy Spirit to continually guide us into all truth and "show us things to come."
A better life
Jesus gives abundant life, peace, and health--spirit, soul and body--in a world that gives no peace. (See John 10:10.)
Heaven
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man (in the natural) The things which God has prepared for those that love Him." (1Corinthians 2:9.) "In the Spirit," we can know that we know that we know--deep in our "knower"! See you there!
